The reference block in Content Builder allows you to insert a pointer to an existing block in a template or email. The pointer ensures that the block always uses the latest content.

- Click on the Blocks tab then drag and drop the Reference Content block into the email.
- Find and select a Content Block, then click Select.
- Click Done Editing.
- Click Save to save your email.
When this content block is subsequently edited, the updated content will appear in any email which uses this reference block.*
