While using the Engage Pro platform there will be scenarios where you find yourself in an area with low, limited, or no WIFI at all. Knowing that this can happen anywhere you should prepare yourself for these types of situations. Following these steps will better prepare you for being able to view content offline.
1. Check your WIFI connection
Make sure you are in an area with strong cellular or WIFI signal. Being connected is the first step to ensuring that the content you view now will be available offline as well.
2. Open Engage Pro
Once you've logged into the platform you will be met with the home screen.
3. Navigate to The Content You Will Need Offline
For this example, we will focus on all iPDM content.
Example Scenario:
Sales Rep John Smith is preparing for an in-person meeting with an HCP at a hospital. John knows that the WIFI in the hospital is spotty or sometimes nonexistent at all. To avoid a technical issue with his presentation he will open all iPDM content in the iPDM Channel prior to traveling.
4. Open The Stories With Content You Need
John would like to have access to all of the contents of each of the following three stories that fall under the iPDM Channel. John will first need to open the first story "iPDM - Levering Medical Value".
5. View All Files
For John's presentation, he will need access to all of the files within the "iPDM - Levering Medical Value" Story. His next step is to open each file in the tab viewer. Once all of the files have been opened the Engage Pro Platform has automatically downloaded the content onto the system. This means that the content is now available offline.
6. Repeat Steps Four & Five For All Content Needed Offline
John will repeat steps four and Five for all of the content he needs available offline from the iPDM Channel. Once he has opened all of the files for each of the stories within the iPDM Channel he is now prepared to present these materials offline. Each file has been downloaded to the Engage Pro platform during the viewing process making those materials available anywhere.
