Hello and welcome to another session of Social Studio Training in 5 Minutes or Less.
Today, we will be focusing on Workbenches.
Workbenches are great if you have a specific question that you would like answered. For example, if you want to know the demographics of your customer base discussing your product online, or popular diabetes hashtags that are trending in your area.
With 2018 officially over, now is the time where your colleagues will start asking for Q1-4 reports for the prior year. Just by glancing at your dashboard all last year, you’ve seen hundreds of thousands of content. Where do you begin to sort, review and ultimately return a report to your team?
Simple: Let’s start with the task- or question you are trying to answer.
“If you were asked, “In the previous 4 quarters, what were the popular hashtags and top keywords surrounding Accu-Chek and our competitors?”
How would you answer the question?
Follow these easy steps!
- After logging into Social Studio, click the ‘Analyze’ tab.
- Next, click on ‘Workbenches’ followed by ‘Create Workbench.’
- Then, you want to ‘Add New Data-set.’ Choose the ‘Topic Profile’ ‘Accu-Chek and Competitors.’ ‘Create Data-set.’
- After it crunches the numbers, you want to left click and select your region.
- Next, left click and select ‘Hashtags.’
- Go back to the region and select ‘Top Words.’
- Lastly, change your date range and rename your Workbench un the upper left hand corner.
- Repeat these steps 3 more times to represent each of the quarters.
* Don’t forget to Rename your Workbench as well!
Remember, all of the tools within Workbenches are interactive. If something peaks your interest, do not hesitate to left click ‘View Feed’ to see the verbatim online.
