To create a slide for rotation at the top of the home page, select Add Homepage Slideshow from the Manage Content dropdown. This will open a new slide template. Simply follow the steps below to add a slide featuring a new product or special offer. 1. Main Title: Enter the headline text or offer for the slide. 2. Slideshow Hero Description: Enter the supporting text or offer you would like included in the slide. 3. Multimedia Setting: Media Type: Select Image or Video, depending upon the visual you will be using. 4. Image: Visit Add an Image for detailed instructions on choosing an image and entering the information required. ! Use an image with a resolution of at least 300x400 and an aspect ratio of 3:4. If you use an image with another aspect ratio, it may be stretched or skewed when it appears on screen. |

5. Video: Visit Add a Video for detailed instructions on choosing a video and entering the information required. 6. Content Position: Select text placement to the left or right of the product, poster or other image, depending upon what looks best. 7. Button Setting: Button Position: Choose a centered button, or place it on the left or right below the content to guide users directly to the call to action. 8. Button Link Title and URL: If you are including a link, add button text and the destination URL here. 9. Button Background, Text and Border Colors: The global standard for these items is white with no background. However, these can be customized here. 10. Slideshow Active: Choose Active to display the slide within the home page hero area. Inactive hides the slide until you are ready for it to go live. |

11. Hero Area Setting: Hero Area Background Type: Choose a Color, Image or None for no background to appear behind the hero image. a. Image: Visit Add an Image for detailed instructions on choosing an image and entering the information required. b. Color: If matching a product brand color, include the darker shade followed by the primary brand color, and a gradient will be generated automatically. • Background Color: You can include up to 4 shades, but 2 is sufficient. It is preferable to enter the hex values in the field provided, to make sure the colors appear correctly on all monitors and devices. • Background Color Position: The global standard is a left-to-right gradient of the brand color. If you need to change that, do so here. Additional Content Get step-by-step instructions for the remaining options, including Publishing Options, Menu Settings and Custom Breadcrumbs in the Additional Content Details section. Meta Tags Add page and content Meta Tags that incorporate popular search terms to aid in search performance and user access. See Meta Tags for additional detail. Save Click the Save button beneath the navigation pane to save your work. If you have checked Published under publishing options, this will send the page live. |
