The Engage Pro team recommends the use of Bigtincan's version of Tumult Hype software to build interactive sales aids (ISAs). (Please submit a support request to access this software. It can only be used on Macbook devices right now.)
We have listed a few of the ways in which Tumult Hype supports an optimal content-development process for content creators and content managers, while also allowing for an optimized and engaging experience for the sales reps and HCP's viewing and interacting with the content.
- Bigtincan has enabled the building of content with Engage Pro-specific actions so that you can include an action in your content that opens an Engage Pro file, channel, story, the Augmented Reality camera, and much more. There are 17 actions in total that wouldn't be available in another creation tool. These are important extensions/actions that can make the files more interactive and make more efficient workflows for the end users.
- The actions mentioned above enable smaller content sets. For example, you can reference videos and files that live outside of the core content so that the package and download size of the main content is manageable. This is important in both a desktop scenario when loading content during a call, or in a mobile scenario when trying to download content on cellular data.
- Your effort in managing versions becomes easier when using Hype. If you are referencing a file outside of the core content, when it gets updated, you don't have to worry about updating the file in multiple places.
- Lastly, the custom export scripts that package the HTML as a .BTCA* file are a big time-saver. It's possible to package HTML as a .BTCA manually, but it will be a considerable effort each time and can be prone to errors.
*A .BTCA file is the file format needed for an interactive sales aid to be loaded and viewed online and offline in Engage Pro.
